Elsa Michaud

Hi, my name is Elsa! I am a Saint Lucian native, who loves traveling, exploring new cities, and most importantly sharing the things I love with the ones I love most. I am a student at Hampton University pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with the aspiration of contributing to technological advances in the future. I am also exploring the world of UX/UI design to bring two of my passions together being creating and technology! My hobbies include swimming, biking, dancing, sailing, and videography amongst many others.

One thing I have learned from my travels (5 countries and counting) is that each adventure teaches you something different, in a way a traditional textbook can’t. I’ve had experiences and knowledge stick with me because of my travels. Meanwhile, what I learned from a textbook dissipated within minutes like a fragile bubble floating through the air, worn out enough to pop. If there’s one thing I know is our footsteps were meant to imprint the grains of sand along the beach, soils, and concrete, and feel the blankets of grass planted beneath our feet because when we explore this very earth, we always find a piece of ourselves we never thought we’d yearn to meet.
